Feature Requests

Before the most recent update we were able to click in to an "all work orders" section and were able to search for specific work orders. The only way to find a given work order now is to open each of the sections until we find the one that we are looking for. Having a search feature for work orders would resolve this issue.

It would be beneficial if we were able to change the project stage that was assigned to a work order. I am in design and have revisions that will get assigned under ITX, Install, and Funding. We have to go hunt through all of the stages to locate the work order now that you have removed the search all work order feature.

We need to be able to select a past date when marking a completion of a work order. this will allow for accurate reporting and data. Human error could cause someone to not complete a workorder the date it was actually complete. PTOs, approvals and other may come in over the weekend, when we do not have a team member present to mark off the workorder. The PTO date is then not inaccurate.

In scenarios where an employee leaves the company or transitions to a different role, it becomes essential to reassign all their active and upcoming work orders (WOs) to a replacement. Currently, this process requires manual reassignment of each WO individually, which can be time-consuming. A bulk reassignment feature would make it easier to transfer all WOs from one user to another, helping ensure workflow continuity and a smooth transition

I would like to be able to assign a work order to a role that multiple users will assigned to and have all of them receive a notification when a task is ready for them to complete. For example, Work Order "Permit/AHJ" would be assigned to "Permit Tech" and then three people under that role would receive the notification to complete the WO. Additionally, if it is possible to make it round robin assign the work order to someone in the role based on their current open assigned work orders and capacity then that would make it more efficient. Example: Permit Techs: Ryan Jennifer Tom New "Permit/AHJ" work order is assigned to "Permit Tech". Ryan currently has 25 assigned work orders, Jennifer has 20 and Tom has 5. This work order would be round robin assigned to Tom to complete Taking it one step further, if I as an owner can define a capacity limit guideline per tech then that would be more optimal. So in that same example; If Ryan's limit is 25, Jennifer's is 40 and Tom's is 5 then the work order would be assigned to Jennifer instead of Tom because she has open capacity.

Currently its just all options are avaliable, It should be an actual drop down and when an option is selected all you see in the form is that. It will be less messy and less scrolling.

Lets say homeowner, John Smith wants to review his CAD design which is not in our standard process. I want to set a reminder based on the completion of a work order so I can ping myself when only "John Smith's" WO is completed.

The ability to mass complete overdue and obsolete reminders would be amazing. Right now you have to complete them one by one.

Would love to be able to (⌘+return) or (Ctrl+Enter) to post comment to the feed. Would speed up my workflow and save clicks!

We would want to add an "Approve/Deny" or "Single Select" or "Multi-Select" Action item template so we can send more types of action items can be sent to the homeowners. Example: Hello Homeowner, Here is the Final Design of your project please "Approve" or "Deny" this design layout. Hello Homeowner, Here are the three available install dates. Which works best for you "Day 1", "Day 2", "Day 3" *This could also be a "rank which day would be best" Once this is completed, please allow us to notify an assignee of the template response.
