January 27, 2025 Release Update: Platform/Web 2.54: Dynamic Due Dates & Enhanced Automation Triggers

We are excited to announce a few key enhancements centered around deadline management & powerful automation features.
[NEW] ⏰ Dynamic Work Order Due Dates
Work order templates now support dynamic due date settings, allowing you to automatically set deadlines relative to creation dates (for example, "3 days after created date"). This enhancement helps streamline project timelines and ensure consistent task management across your operations.
[IMPROVED] 🤖 Enhanced Automation Triggers
Two powerful new automation triggers have been added to enhance your workflow automation:
Trigger Automations when Projects or Requests are created with a specific Workflow (previously you were only able to trigger these from a Project or Request moving from/to a specific Stage)
Trigger Automations when Work Orders are created with a specific Template (previously you were only able to trigger these from a Work Order moving from/to a specific Status)
Like all other Triggers, these can send our Emails, SMS, as well as trigger 3rd party tools via our "Call webhook" Action.
These updates reflect our commitment to providing you with powerful, flexible tools to keep your projects running smoothly and on time, as well as alleviating manual steps in your processes.
